Joe's Place

Labyrinth at Lands End

The Labyrinth was created in 2004 by artist Eduardo Aguilera.

It has been destroyed by vandals several times but the community gets together and rebuilds it.

I've been there many times.

It's a great "First Hike" for newbies.

It's under 4-miles total, and only about 500' elevation gain throughout the entire hike, with beautiful views of the Golden Gate Bridge, The Marin Headlands, and the Pacific Ocean.

Directions:

Drive to the Northwest corner of SF near Sutro Baths and park in the Lands End parking lot.
There was no parking fee when I was there.

The Hike:

Start out the Lands End trailhead, which curves back towards the Golden Garte Bridge.
About a mile in you'll see a stairs on your left.
This leads down to the Labyrinth at Lands End.
