Asian Art MuseumThe Asian Art Musem in downtown SF is a great place to visit.
They have all this cool old stuff on display from all over Asia, PLUS they get rotating exhibits that come in for special showings. One time that I went they were having the "Terracotta Army" exhibit which was really special. Obviously the photography won't be great since you are not allowed to use a flash and they keep the lights low. I did the best I could though and it's not too shabby. |
Directions:At 200 Larkin street in downtown SF it's quite easy to find.
It's only 2 blocks from the Civic Center BART statoion. I do NOT recommend driving and parking in downtown SF, just take BART. Exit BART and head west on Market to the corner, (8th street, Grove and Hyde streets.) Go west one block on Grove and turn right on Larkin ...OR... Go north on Hyde to McAllister and turn left. It is right on the corner of Larkin and McAllister. |
